19.01.05---The German Version of the album „Home Again“, unlike the international version, will contain a bonustrack plus a multimedia element for PC and Mac, where you can see new pictures and an Interview which was conducted with Jimmy in Berlin. Album will be released in Germany (incl. Bonustracks and Video-Interview) and the UK - 14 February 2005,

13.01.05---Jimmy´s new single „Ain´t No Mountain High Enough“ will be released on 31st January. The old Ashford/Simpson number has been given a dance touch by producer Felix Gauder who is famous for such productions like Bluelagoon´s „Break My Stride“ or „Do You Really want To Hurt Me“. Other single-mixes are from Björn Wilke and Boris Dlugosch which have already gone down well in top clubs.

08.01.2005---Aid for South-East Asia!
We, “the Jimmy Somerville Fan-Page”, would also like to play our part in relieving the distress of the victims of the Flood-Disaster in South-East Asia.  For this cause we have started an auction, the proceeds of which will be donated to “Unicef-International”
A promo CD of Jimmys new single “Ain´t No Mountain High Enough” (release: 31/01/2005) will be put up for auction.  This CD has a different cover, 5 track, incl. the Mainstream-Radiomix, which is not available on the official single. (1 CD is available for the German fans and 1 CD for international fans)

2004-05-02 ---Saeed & Pallash, who have already done remixes for the likes of Kylie Minogue and other big names, are working at the moment on a remix of Jimmy´s "So Good"  Promotional edits of this remix will be released  in limited edition for DJs in the middle of May.  The producer Björn Wilke will also be doing a remix of "So Good". He is known for his remix of Chicken Lips Evergreen´s "He Not In" which has sold thousands.

2004-03-23 --- NOW IT IS OFFICIAL! Jimmy 5 times will be a Special Guest on tour LIVE with Rosenstolz (german band). These and other live dates can be found on our Live-Dates page.

08-01-03 --- Jimmy Somerville is no longer with MEDIA RECORDS!
The former boss of  MEDIA Records Inc., Robin Ewald, signed Jimmy to his new label JINX MUSIX Inc.. The chance of the new album being released in the near furure is however quite low. Nevertheless we wait in anticipation as we´ve heard that the new album will include great songs from various producers. Two of these songs have just been completed by Peter Plate from the German band ROSENSTOLZ. (see picture)

At this moment, Jimmy is writing the lyrics for his new album, which is likely to be available in the Fall of 2002. The promotion for this album begins this summer with the release of 2 new singles. According to the information that is provided to us, these are all newly produced and not remixes from ealier business deals. MEDIA is negotiating at this time with EMI, BMG and Universal over Marketing deals.
Unconfirmed rumors that are circulating is that Jimmy Somerville and Kylie Minogue are planning a duet together. Supposedly they have met and discussed this so we'll keep you informed.

2 successful producers are working with Jimmy and his colleagues.  First:  Mauro Picotto is working on something softer.  Second:  Tom Novy is producing a new track in a Pop/House style.
Besides having Gigi D’Agostino, RMB, De Phazz and hopefully DJ Tonka, the collaboration will be confirmed on a new album.

Limburg, Germany 17. 07. 2001 - Many rumors have surounded this deal, but now it´s official: Jimmy Somerville is the new member of the Media Records Family, who also have Mauro Picotto, Mariu Piu and Gigi D´Agostino under contract. Robinson Ewald (Media Records), Carol Crabtree & Gunther Walker (both Solar Management), Stephanie Pott (Mad Music Management), Pascal Amann (Lawyer) and Jimmy Somerville have met to sign the contract in the Limburg office of the Independent Label. September is going to be the month when the production for the new album starts. For example, Gigi D´Agostino was in talks as producer for the future project.

Joining Jimmy as background singers/vocals are Gillian Wisdom & Matthew David, from his club route days.  Many visitors to Jimmy’s concerts in this year and last have admitted that in the “Almighty Defenitive” mix it was a true joy to have them singing.  It reminds people of a strong live version of “Why”, and they have also noted that the singing duels between Jimmy, Gillian and Matthew supplies itself with simple grandios.

The American Fans had to wait until January 2000 for the album to appear in stores, but only with a different cover.  At the same time Jimmy organized a small promotour in June/July in the USA.
